You can either call me Shannon or Shay, either one works for me :) I am currently engaged to my fav guy who I’ve been with for almost a decade. After we met (& I instantly developed a crush and asked him out) I always say - we hung out for the first time and then we just never stopped.
On a normal day you can find me doing my SAHM duties, hanging out with my little bestie (but my fiancés twin), our toddler. She is just... everything. The princess of our world, the light of our lives with a smile that just melts us to pieces. The last puzzle piece to our family is our lil’ pup Molly. I say puppy but she’s actually an old gal. She’s just a little sausage with legs the colour of Swiss Chalet gravy that is so kissable it makes me grit my teeth just looking at her cause she’s so cute.
I have been passionate about taking photos for as long as I can remember. I’m lucky to say I've always known what I wanted to do with my life career-wise. I was that girl carrying around a hot pink digital camera, taking hundreds of pictures of my friends, or making a friend model for creative portraits. I just loved creating art, and also capturing memories that people would want to remember, even if they didn't know it at the time. I remember when friends would complain about me always taking pictures, and I would tell them “You’ll be happy when you're older that you'll have all of these photos to look back on!” ...and I still feel the same way 100%.
At the end of the day, our past shapes our lives, and it made us who we are now. But damn, does it go by fast.
There are so. many. fleeting. moments.
So many forgotten smiles. Forgotten feelings that looking at a picture can instantly bring right back up. Capturing those times, how we felt, who was important to us... that is the reason why I’m so passionate about what I do.

I could go on and on, but instead I wrote out some facts about me to help you get to know me a bit better...
✿ Being a mother is one of the most special and important things in my life, and something I'm very proud of. To me, family is everything. Blood doesn't always make family, amazing people do, and I have a lot of amazing people in my life that I care about deeply.
✿ When I was younger I always wished I could take pictures when I blinked. I was (and still am) obsessed with capturing and remembering moments.
✿ I am a bit of a perfectionist, but while shooting I am always adjusting the little things like a slightly crooked tie or necklace, spotting a phone lump in a pocket or fixing that one piece of hair thats out of place that I spotted with my eagle eye.
✿ Anyone who knows me knows I am a massive Taylor Swift fan, and have been since I was 13. Music is really important to me, I love to sing (but won't in front of strangers) and I'm one of the weird ones who gets pumped up by sad songs!
✿ The sky is one of my all-time favourite things. It never looks the exact same, and it's beauty is always there. All you have to do is look up.
✿ Cleaning makes me happy.
✿ I love my safe and cozy-feeling shows like Gilmore Girls, Greys Anatomy, The Office, Friends etc... you know, the ones that feel like home that you have watched over and over again from start to finish hundreds of times. BUT my guilty pleasure is reality dating shows like Love Island or any of The Bachelor franchise shows.
✿ I'm a very emotional gal and I feel things very deeply. Some people see that as negative, but I never have. It's who I am, and I'm proud of the qualities I have that being emotional has given me.
✿ I love to cook and bake! I tend to experiment a lot and luckily whatever I'm making always turns out pretty good!
✿ Last but not least... I am a hopeless romantic and love a good love story. Get ready to tell me allll about yours, I want to know everything!
